Exhibition for children
An exhibition kit has been designed to be taken from school to school, accompanying the workshops. It is installed in participating schools that wish to do so for a period of 3 to 4 weeks. The kit includes a selection of 6 artist instructions accompanied by contributions from scientists, information on urban nature (including a section specific to the canton of Geneva) and content adapted for young audiences in the form of games.
As the workshops progress and the pupils interact with the instructions, the exhibition is completed by their own creations.
The children also become involved in the project, and their parents are invited to attend the exhibition opening on the evening of the event. This enables a wide range of people to discuss and exchange ideas at the crossroads of knowledge and emotions, art and environmental science.
This program was developed in collaboration with the Department of Public Instruction (DIP). art-werk is collaborating on this project with local partners, mainly schools and colleges, as well as associations active in environmental protection and sustainability, universities and colleges of higher education.
